A wonderful, rich, malty beer. It has masses of flavor and a slightly sweet finish. Dangerously drinkable!
Ingredients: Pearl pale malt, crystal malt, chocolate malt, wheat malt. Goldings and Challenger hops.

Bottled. A red-amber beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and light notes of elderflowers. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of butterscotch and elderflowers. Thanks fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.

Amber with a large off white head. Rather a wonderful sweet burnt caramel aroma. Sweet, nutty malt taste and decent bitterness to follow. Liked this a lot.

Cask conditioned @: Guide Dog, Soton. Malty toffee with mild roasty chocolate and toast flavours. Mild hops in the surprisingly light finish. A bit of a scratchy feel in the mouth from the roastiness which isnt helped by the light body.

Bottled. Ornately lacy mahogany pour with a well-retained creamy beige head. Richly malty, buttery caramel snout with an inviting whiff of barrel. Creamily chocolatey, walnutty and wholemeal-flavoured with a punch of biiterly roasty malt and peppery hops in the finish. Deep, silky and luxurious.

Raw biscuit malts, caramalt is notably present, some fruit and a hint of candy sugar sweetness, but you really need to serch of that one. Taste straight up hits me as alot thinner than expected, tough sweet, roasted malts and bitter malts in the finish. Really quite disapointed actually as i was expecting a full bodied spicey fruity esb insted i got a high % normal bitter.

Cask at the Turf Tavern, Oxford. Quite a dark bitter with a strong aroma and flavor of chocolate malt. This particular bitter had a very nice, smooth and chewy mouthfeel that i enjoyed. Not outstanding, but decent.
