harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jun 4, 2006 Light refreshing and tangy with some wheaty yeasty flavors creeping in, with gentle juicy acidity and a very clean finish. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 6, 2004 Dark yellow and a light head with the same lace. Banana and clove. Wheat maybe. The same in the flavor with more citrus than banana showing. German hef or dortmunder? DomiNate (123), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 6, 2004 2004 NABA Festival: Clear with sweet smell. Light frothy head. Sweet, fruity, citrusy. BückDich (4497), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 6, 2004 Updated: Jun 13, 2006Sampled at the NABA 06 Fest: Golden color, no head or lacing. Served way too cold as it takes a couple minutes of swirling and warming to get even a hint of nose. The flavor is woody with a light thin sweet malt note. So subtle and delicate but thin and unappealing at the same time. There’s nothing wrong with a lack of character, but it has to be able to dance in the shadows if that’s the case.
