GABF 2005. "Wolf Pack Yellowstone Falls Pilsner". Billed as a Bohemian Pilsner, however it did not come across like one. Clear golden body with a faint green tint and a pillowy white head with good lacing. Fresh spicy hops predominate in the aroma with some underlying grainy malts. No detectable diacetyl. Very hoppy, dry flavor with high bitterness. Comes across like a German-style pils with Saaz hops. This is a good hop-oriented lager.

NABA ’05: Clear gold, light sharp husky malts & light citrusy hoppy notes. Clean flavor but more husks in the finish. Very nice bitterness though, right on par with a pilsner. Clean out the nose and this would be a real contender.
