3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, 500ml from Sainsburys, Banbury. Gold with white head. Light, slightly sweetish beer, there is a honeyed, malty body leading to a fruity, strawberry finish. A touch of bitterness in the close, just could do with more body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled 27/06/13. A very hazy yellow orange coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A full bodied sweetish beer. Definite honey although not as sickly as some. Pretty well rounded and good enough.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
March 2013 - room temp bottle. Light colour. Smells of mixed citrus. Taste: There’s a bit of honey and lemon up front, then a soft bitterness. A good balance, and the flavour is a lot better than I was expecting. A decent brew, if slightly watery.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle @ home on 27 Dec 2012: bottle best before Sep 2013, poured into a UK pint sleeve.
Very pale and cloudy body: the sort of colour you’d phone the doctor about if you’d passed it! Especially if you had the same head of white foam on top.
Citrus notes run through the whole brew: both the nose and taste dominated by the hop content with the malts and honey (used in the brew) not really getting a look in. Yeasty at times, but those heavy lemon and grapefruit citrus flavours soon take over again.
Not a huge citrus hop fan, but this was OK.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask - The Lawyer, Norwich. A clear golden yellow colour with a creamy, one-finger, lacing white head with fair retention. It’s a crisp, citrus-forward golden with some apple on the nose and a delicate sweetness running throughout (though I wouldn’t have said this was was due to added honey). Light to medium body, softish mouthfeel, lingering, medium intensity hoppy finish. Refreshing & quaffable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle from the Sainsbury’s beer hunt range. Pale straw with a fast fading white head; slightly musty honey aroma; clean refreshing flavour - some citrus, and a grainy body; and a crisp bitterness to finish with a touch of sweetness from the honey. Rather good.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear golden ale. Not much of an aroma, very much lacking in distinct flavour. Slightly sharp but really fairly undistinguishable
