3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask (handpump) at the White Horse, Parsons Green. Deep, rich ruby colour. Aroma has lots of plummy fruit with some vinous notes. Chocolate and berry fruit on the palate. Slightly sharp finish. As strong ales go this isnít that assertive, but it drinks nicely.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle Conditioned. Too much yeast has resulted in a huge foaming head and a big yeasty flavour which unbalances what appears to be a fine darkly malty beer with a bramble fruit quality.
