Cask at the Magpie & Crown, deep copper with a fine clingy white head, malt plus a little honey and apricot and a hint of phenol on the nose, juicy body turns dry in the finish, with a bitter and biscuity overlay. OK, but could be better.

Bottled, 500ml from Cromer Farm & Health Shop, Cromer, Norfolk. Amber with short white head, carbonation. Caramel, malted body mid depth with a slight boiled toffee note. There is a dusty, earthy hop note, some bitterness, reasonable but not earth shattering.

Bottle@Home. Beautiful malts and hoppy aroma. Amber, off-white head, good lace. Light malty, caramel, bitter, herbal, hops, hint of mint. Medium body. Clean, hoppy, balanced. Come RB-ians! This is a good bitter. Underrated!
