HansJM (358), Norway Feb 15, 2005 A good beer, no doubt, but could have been better if they find the right balance between hops and malt...sounds maybe easy, but they didn’t get it right in any of the 12 bottles we tested...It’s first of all malty, with some hints of fruit...prunes, maybe. But itis almost killed with hops. The hops are good, but there’s too much even for me! Very dry in the end.
MoritzF (3926), Ruhrpott, Germany Mar 19, 2007 (swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head, leaving some lace. Herbal and grassy hop aroma with a balanced malty sweetness in the background. Light-sweet and moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Mild malt-character, herbal notes from the beginning; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish with tinge of metal. Solid German Pils. pivnizub (3899), Porúří, Germany Feb 15, 2007 Flip-top bottle: Golden coloured, medium-sized fluffy head, quickly collapsing; a classical Pilsner aroma: sweet pale malt and aromatic (herbal) hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, light bodied, detectable malty base; slightly alcoholic, slightly metallic, but mainly aromatic, sweet-hoppy finish. A goody, nearly like a well done Bohemian Pils...... bierkoning (4932), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 27, 2005 Hoparoma with hints of caramel and butter. Hoppy hay-like flavor with brussel sprouts, cardboard. Hopbitter aftertaste, but the mouthfeel is far from clean.
