Taste is a similar bag and again i get ginger? Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 29, 2007 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet grainy and malty combined with a touch of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and a nice filling body. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Jul 21, 2005 Updated: Nov 29, 2005500ml bottle at Battersea beer Festival, February 2005. A rare beer that Kook or Duff bought not realising that they had tried it just a few days before at the Beer Circus. A golden beer with less malt character that most German festival beers. Unfortunately that meant it just came over as a fairly standard lager, maybe a little on the soft and sweet side, and a pretty dull one at that. Not unpleasant but not a lot happening.
