Sep 17, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a white head. Spiced hoppy aroma. Flavour is mild spiced and with a mild caramel malt base. Bitter and light spiced finish. Medium dry.

May 29, 2007 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet grainy and malty combined with a touch of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and a nice filling body.

Jul 21, 2005 Updated: Nov 29, 2005500ml bottle at Battersea beer Festival, February 2005. A rare beer that Kook or Duff bought not realising that they had tried it just a few days before at the Beer Circus. A golden beer with less malt character that most German festival beers. Unfortunately that meant it just came over as a fairly standard lager, maybe a little on the soft and sweet side, and a pretty dull one at that. Not unpleasant but not a lot happening.
