Bottled 500ml. -Trade with shrubber85 (thanks Roger!). Murky yellow coloured, small white head that went away fast, sharp acidic nose. The taste is also sharp acidic, yeasty and lemony with touch of barnyard near the end. Very refreshing and deadly drinkable beer.

Bottle received in a trade with shrubber85 (thanks!), shared with ogivlado.
Poured a pale, dull murky yellow body with a small-medium white head that went away at a medium-fast pace. Acidic sharpish nose, bit malty, funky.Whoa, I didn’t know this was a Berliner Weisse! Nice refreshing acidic taste with some dry, noticeable malty notes, bit berryish. Refreshing. The acidity attacks the tongue. This is certainly a surprise. Quite balanced and drinkable for what it is. Some herbal and dry cracker notes in the finish counter the acidity and make this probably the best BW I’ve had!

500 ml bottle. 4.5%. From Germany (bierkompass.de).
Hazy yellow colour with small white head. Sour lemony citrus aroma with baking soda and medicine (of some kind?). Flavour is as demanding as the flavour. Sour lemony citrusy flavour. Quite fizzy. This is quite hardcore. Label is printed in very lo-fi style.

Bottle, thx to Koelschtrinker. It’s a gusher, producing a milky yellow body under a big, rapidly diminishing, pillowy white head. The aroma is quite pleasant with cellar and lemon. Lemon sodapop, notes of cellar, a salty touch and some barnyard notes in the mouth. Medium to thin body, astringent mouthfeel. A really nice surprise, and very quenching. 091230

[bottle] Sour and dry fruity aroma with strawberries and a little celery. Hazy dark yellow under white fizz that drops quickly despite considerable effervescence. The flavour is refreshingly sour and dry, but not quite pickle juice. Lotus root malt flavour together with a blend of tropical and citrus fruits. Light body, high carbonation, sourness quickly becomes a gentle, watery finish. Mouth puckering.

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94 on 12/13/09: Pours a hazy pale golden with a stringy-lacing white head. Very sour funky lemon nose has some horseblanket and grassy fruity notes. Starts with pretty good effervescent fullness and lemon citrus tartness with a dry funky finish. Very crisp, tart and enjoyable. Very true to style.

Bottle. Pours yellow in a marker pen shade. Very complex for a low alcohol beer. Citrus, banana, pineapple and baking yeast. Sweet and acidic like berrys of the forrest

500 ml bottle. Hazy yellow body with a huge white head. Aroma is refreshing acidic with a fruitiness somewhere between lemon and Bret. Flavor is also extremely refreshing, lot of acid, fruity lemonish and not so much more. Nice considering this low alcohol.
