3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly skunked aroma, although the malts thankfully are more present. Good malty flavor to it, a good but not great Fest bier, mainly because its slightly subdued in flavor.

Yez, I was lucky enough to get a bottle of this from house of 1000 beers. You know, the slight aroma of skunk in some beers is not all that bad! Big and small CO2 in the pale lager show, filtered fer sure. Yeah, rather strong for lager and some of that piercing aroma carries thru to the taste. Metallic aroma follows with a wierd sensation of sterile palate. Fienwerzig baby! Mit mildren hofnaharoma. Du Haust, were living in amerika! One of the more mild fest beers I’ve had and I’m liking that. Jeet yet?

3.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Better import than Corona, Heineken, Guinness, Beck, Fosters, Amstel. Yeasty, grassy, thick German beer. But it remains too shy, never coming out of its shell. One degree above flat. Typical noble: aroma (beta hops) hiding the absence of full flavor (alpha).

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2010 a deep golden color to this German pilsener tasting brew. a strong pilsener this brew has some hay and a lingering bitter finish that spreads across the palate. the palate is a bit soft and all i found this brew to be charming and refreshing indeed. perhaps an abv of %5.4.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz bottle labeled as Fest-bier. No abv listed. Pours a nice medium woody copper with an initiial fluffy white head but dissipates to some thin film. Aroma is toast, nutty, grass, herbal hops, a light german lager yeasty twang, mostly fresh bread, and lightly burnt nutty toast. Flavor is a bit weaker, seems watered down a bit- nutty, earthy, grass, herbs, lager yeast sharpness, thin papery crackery dusty malts, with just a slight bit of caramel and burnt toast. Dry finish, but just a bit weak and watered down.
