11,2oz bottle. Pours a clear slightly reddish gold with a two inch white head. Smells of malt and carmel. The taste is fairly average with initial tastes of honey, malt, and carmel. This finish is the same with virtually undetectable levels of hop bitterness. Carbonation is medium light and the mouthfeel is fairly thin. Very little flavor although the age of this beer is suspect and the hop bitterness may have faded over time. Pleasant under the right circumstances but mostly boring and unimpressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fuer ein Maerzen sehr dumpf und unmalzig. Perlung ist leicht uebertrieben und geschmacklich in Richtung nichts gehend. Entweder war meine Zunge belegt oder es ist wirklich ein Hauch von Nichts.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep golden colour with steady low ehad and thin body. Aroma of grains and wheat. Taste of mild hops, grains, straw, berries and citrus. Grainy and thin finish. Refreshing but not that nice.

kramer (5108) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small fizzy white head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is rather husky and grainy with some caramel malt and a touch of cardboard. The flavor is a little too grainy and husky with a dry dusty finish and some weak caramel. This isn’t smooth or well lagered at all. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation and a rather rough grainy finish. Not exactly a well made Festbier.

Very malty, musty aroma. Darkish gold in color with thin head and lazy carbonation. Malt dominates the taste also, bready, crackers, wet cardboard.

12oz bottle poured into a tumbler. Clear light copper color with a small white head. Bready malt aroma, with faint floral hops and some caramel. Sweetish caramel malt, lo bitterness, some nuttiness and bread. Light bodied, kinda dry, easy to drink and overall OK.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, small bubbley head, clear light bronze colour, light honey malty aroma with a touch of hay, strong dominant honey flavour with a light unpleasant bitterness and an unpleasant sour bitter aftertaste. Just bland and boring..
