Better import than Corona, Heineken, Guinness, Beck, Fosters, Amstel. Yeasty, grassy, thick German beer. But it remains too shy, never coming out of its shell. One degree above flat. Typical noble: aroma (beta hops) hiding the absence of full flavor (alpha).

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
A - 2 fingers of white frothy head sits on top of a clear golden bronze body. Excellent lacing.
S - Wheat bread, honey, cereal grain, pale malt, some grassy notes.
T - Grain and pale malt start it off. A light honey sweetness blankets the grain. Grassy hops join in and make a very clean finish.
M - Light bodied, high carbonation.
Very distinctly German. A great all around beer. A nice sweetness with a clean finish. Extremely drinkable.

Achtung bitches! This is just nasty! Skunky flavor and all the crappyness you could hope to want in an imported German beer. Avoid!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, amber pour with a fine clingy white head and aromas of grassy hops and nutty malt. Body is dry, with a vegetal note, plus dry herby hops and biscuity malt. Decent enough, though no real depth to it. Tastes a bit cheap, which it was!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a gold color with slight foam head. Nose of some grass, malt. Taste. Is a bit sweeter than expected, with malt, and a touch of lemon and honey. Not very complex. Easy to drink.

Green bottle skunkiness. Aroma to match. Simple. Dont taste much Oktoberfest in this.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours dirty-gold with a tall white head.
Scent is slight GBS (green-bottle-skunk) and bread.
Taste is quite watery, grainy....minimal spicing....bread and caramel.
Generic lager flavours.
Nothing overtly bad, just boring and light.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
The head is medium, the body golden. It smells hoppy, sweet, a bit flowery-hoppy. The taste is hoppy, malty, hoppy-flowery, a bit bitter, strange. Tasty, easy drinkable, but not a typical Märzen. 11/10/10/9/11/10

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light copper color with quick diminishing white head. Toasty malt aroma. A very mild marzen - toasty malts, spice and biscuit. Low hops. Not a bad flavor but a watered down version of your typical Oktoberfest.

12oz. Light golden pour with a small white head. Aromas of skunky euro lager, light bread, and ceral. Flavor is much of the same and on the light side. Decent at best and worth the $6 a sixpack....
