Poured one finger of head on a clear, golden colored body. The aroma is grain and barnyard. The taste is mildly bitter with a honey sweet ending. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. The taste is too sweet and not bitter enough. Not the greatest pilsener.

Can:   Bright straw, clear, thin white head, whispy lacing.   Straw/hay on the nose.   Pretty straight forward, clean, very light sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Doesn’t come across as grainy or bready.   Clean and fairly crisp finish.   Enjoyed this one more than I thought I would.

22oz bottle at Brooklyn Beer Garden at JFK
Clear golden with a medium sized white head, some lacing. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of corn, grainy and citrus zest
Ok but not real good. I’m not sure why I ordered this after spending a week in Germany drinking fresh pilsners.

Drank from a 330ml bottle, purchased as part of a random eight pack. Smells a bit skunky as most decent pilsners do. Feels that has decent carbonation. Has a nice crisp beginning, with a bit of a bitter, dry middle taste. Not bad, not great.

Bottle - Pours yellow with a slight haze. Grass and bread aromas. Nice malt backbone. Decent German lager at best.

Can. BB 16.06.16. Clear pale yellow, the head’s bubbly and white, rather big initially but drops fast to leave a film. Some lacing too. Very mild but inoffensive biscuity-grassy aroma, some grassy and slightly floral hoppiness too. Taste of malts, slightly dusty hay, a very mild honey note, also a hint of bitterness. Feels somewhat bland in the mouth but has a nice crisp carbonation in the throat. Body light to medium. It’s really okay after a hard day.

Mild maltiness, hints of minerals, slight sweetness. Finishes with some persistent, grassy bittterness. Better than the regular Pilsener, still a rather flat and industrial-tasting brew.

My friend brought it over for s party which was my first experience with Wolters Pilsener which was a big surprise. The taste was a german pilsener with proper bitterness and very refreshing to drink. We finished the entire case with my friends who all were impressed with the beer.

Ok, it's not amazing. But after a ton of work outside it is pretty satisfying... Smooth and light is all I was really after ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
