Draft sample at MBGF Summer 2009. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate grainy and small grassy hop aroma. Light body with a watery texture with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet grainy finish of short duration. Worth having once.

Enjoyed a bottle of this in honor of Rich Rodriguez and his amazing first year at Michigan. The beer pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin and fizzy white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Mildly grainy malt aroma with a touch of hops. Light body with flavors of sweet malt and lightly bitter grassy hops. The finish is short with corn and malt aftertaste. Below average overall.

Bottle from dmschefke. Gold pour, white head. Aroma is malty and grainy with a slight smell of hops. Flavor isn’t anything amazing, but it is refreshing and doesn’t have that horrible skunky flavor that many lagers do.

Bottle… Clear, light yellow lager with a mid-sized, fragile, white head and long-lasting, creamy retention. Grainy, musky, mild green chili aroma with just a hint of butterscotch – neither offensive nor inviting. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. Flavor slants toward the sweet side of balance – pale grains, touches of honey and butterscotch alongside lightly bitter, peppery hops. Crisp, bittersweet finish. Kudos to dmschefke for providing the bottle!

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2010 Bottle. Dark golden and frothy. A bit on the corny side but drinkable nonetheless and much more flavorful than the macro alternatives. Not a terrible way to start New Year’s Eve. (#3780, 12/31/2009)

12oz bottle 7/7/09 (Siciliano’s Market-Grand Rapids)-Pours a clear golden with a small loose white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of grains, rice, and light hops. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is another run of the mill Pale Lager.

Typical corn-syrup-laden pale lager...pale golden pour, light body, corn falvors and aroma, some tartness in the background, virtually no noticable hop notes. Just really bland and uninspired.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear pale yellow brew with white head. Aroma of corn and adjunt. Flavor follows aroma with a corny sweet body offset by mild hops. Very macro-like in flavor.

Bottle. Pours a very clear golden yellow straw color with a slight 1/2 finger head that quickly dissapates. The aroma that i get from this is like lightly grilled sweet corn. Sweet with a touch of smokiness. The taste is very much like a macro. Sweet beginning and then a very slight bitter taste at teh end. Has and odd lingering taste. Medium mouthfeel. Not my favorite type of beer but not terrible or good at the same time.
