I thought I was given an Amber Lager, but I can’t find that on ratebeer, so I’ll choose the Premium Lager. The Amber Lager is an excellent lager. I tend to like darker beers, but this is WAY better than any of the macro brew lagers. It was given to me by a friend (swapped him for a Dark Lager) and I really enjoyed this.

Sample. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Soft brew.

Bottle. Micro lager, true to the style made to be drinkable but with a little more flavor than the national brews. Pretty good for this style if this is what you are seeking.

12oz bottle from The Beer Depot in Ann Arbor, MI. Pours a crystal clear, straw-yellow colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is a light grainy sweetness with a touch of grass and floral. Flavor is a watery, lightly sweetened grainy lager with a touch of grass that dries this and keeps it clean. Short aftertaste following a light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty bland and simple lager. Straightforward, lightly sweetened grainy malt with a touch of grass. Okay, then.

draft.... good looking beer, super clear and crisp... the nose is lightly sweet but a touch of hops, but a little skunk... tastes just sweet, watery lagery but easy to drink, a bit of burnt graham cracker, solid
