Brewed in honor of the A2 Beer Wench, our very own, E.T. Crowe, as well as the easy-going and laid back personality of Ann Arbor’s Old West Side, this American Wheat Ale is made up of 50% rich, plump, juicy German wheat malt, with the remaining malt bill filled with nearly 50 pounds of locally grown raw wheat grains. A touch of caramel malt to lend character and color as well as a heavy dose of Cascade hops from the American Northwest give this beer a completely unique quality. A combination of herbaciousness (or, if you’re a Brit: "Herbaceousness") and citrus notes, this is a truly amazing beer drinking experience available ONLY on Ann Arbor’s Westside!

Tap at the brewery. Hazy gold pour with a small ring of head. Aroma is faint. Just some light wheat grain. Taste is the same. Weak and boring. Light to moderate bitterness in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold with a light brown head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had notes of light fruit, slight citrus and a sweet wheat backing. Flavor had more sweet wheat coming through with a light fruit backing and just a hint of citrus in the finish.
