Cask conditioned handpump Old Bank Northampton 12/03/13. A golden beer with a white head and lace. Sweet off notes in this. As said already TCP for sure. Buttery and biacuity. No obvious NZ hops to see here.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Couple of lunchtime pints with the folks at the brewery tap, 30/01/13. Orange gold topped with creamy white. Sulphur-led aroma with grass and orange. Distracting TCP and tapwater notes gradually overwhelmed by tangy hop and herbal character; grass, overripe tangerine, orange peel, cointreau splashes; some aniseed, maybe mint hints. Full-bodied, robust. Biscuit sweetening a mildly drying finish. Pretty decent.
