Woodchuck Amber Draft Cider was the first style of cider produced under the Woodchuck label. It is made from a blend of apples and fermented with champagne yeast to produce a great tasting and refreshing product.

Wife was drinking one so I figured I’d steal a couple sips and rate it. The aroma was very good sweet apple and the taste delivered exactly what was advertised. Taste was sweet green apple flavor and reminded me of a juice box. I don’t think I could drink more than one of these due to the sweetness.

First taste with Woodchuck with the Amber and it delivered. Crisp apple smell, can taste the champagne notes, mild bubbles. Drank from the bottle. No after taste, picked up another right after.

Tastes sweet and apple-ey. It has the appearance of a soft drink. Apple aroma. I like everything about this drink except it gives me a headache after drinking a couple, and the sweetness is a little much after a while.

Keg. Clear amber color. Thin white head, but barely any head to see. Aroma of apples and sugars. Rich apple and sugar flavors, very sweet. Not much else to it. It was delicious, but not outstanding.

Nothing spectacular here, just a middle of the road easily drinkable cider. Available in 12 pack bottles or cans and it will do in a pinch.

Mediocre cider, drinkable but nothing special. Alcohol, amber, clear, minimal head, heavy cloying sweetness, light body, thin feel, slick feel, soft carbonation.

Pours a golden hue, with a bubbly surface. Aroma notes are of tart apples, and it tastes just like apple juice. Albeit a bit more of a bite, and not as sweet. I like how this cider is not overly sweet, and not overly dry. Just a good decent cider.

Appearance: very clear golden color, a lighter gold but not yellow, pours with practically no head, just a few bubbles around the rim Aroma: very strong apple, crisp, kind of like apple juice, sweet Taste: sweet apple, tastes exactly like apple juice, a bit of a twang in there Palate: soft carbonation, feels like a moderate body, can leave hints of dryness, slight apple aftertaste Overall: not a bad drink, I think I'd have trouble picking this if I had apple juice and was blindfolded ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: no head, translucent yellow color, looks like apple juice Aroma: sweet, apple, jolly rancher Taste: sweet, candy, apple jolly rancher, reminds me of apple juice Palette: a little tart at end Overall: this does not taste like alcohol, it tasted like juice, it's good and tasty not what I expected ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
