First of the Woodchuck Cellar Series, this cider is an infusion of cider with crisp citrus and pine notes. Enjoy the smooth apple character of Woodchuck’s signature hard cider perfectly balanced against the bitterness of hops. Enjoy!

As far as ciders go this is one of the best... Maybe it’s just because I like beer.... I dunno... It’s second only to ones from b. Nektar. Its very crisp by far one of the most refreshing ciders and a lot more refreshing than a lit of beers. Very very good.

Bottle shared at Beer Market Jaffa. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Clear pale yellow-golden. Aroma of green apples, mild funk, a herbal hint and a citric note. Sweetish-sourish flavor of apples with a sugary note, a light hoppy bitter note and a citric touch. Quite nice and refreshing.

What the hell? This stuff is actually pretty good. It’s clear, very pale and headless. It smells and tastes wery much like a fruity white wine only which makes for a very champagne-like beverage only w/ a beer-like levels of alcohol and carbonation. While there is a touch of sweetness and comes off as reasonably dry and drinkable overall. I could honestly sit down and drink a six pack of this stuff and not mind it, making this easily one of the beest ciders in WOodchuck’s lineup.

Bottle. Pours a faint yellow-green with a white head and tons of visible carbonation. Nose is floral, fruity, and dusty. Dry and fruity on the tongue, with some hops floral and herbal notes; there’s not a lot of citrus bitterness, but there’s definitely hops there, and it adds a level of complexity. Finish is long, dusty/herbal, and juicily astringent. Nice.

On tap @ Hops on Birch. Clear yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Smells like sugar, simple syrup, and green apple candies. Very citric and sour. Tastes like candy, basically. Sour lemon, citric acid, and lots of green apple ring candies. Maybe a slight lemon peel flavor.

On tap at Granite State on tap. I got this for my dad and he ended up liking it so much I had to go back and try it for myself. Bit earthy apple with hints of floral hop and a bit of spice. The hop is subtle but adds a bit and rounds things out. I couldn’t drink a lot of this but nice to try once in a while.

Aroma is citrus/tropical fruit, apples and slightly perfumed. The flavor is citrus, tropical fruit, apples, mild sweetness and a tart/mildly bitter finish.

Bomber into a glass. Super clean hay pour. A lot of the hop character is in the aroma. The typical tart apple notes are overcome by floral and grassy notes. Taste is a bit more typical cider. Sweet, crisp, fresh apple note. Hints of sugar and a bit of grass. Easy drinking.

Smells like sorghum beer -- a little sour and phenolic. Very pale, greenish topaz. Sweet, plasticky, generally unenjoyable. Lightish body, sourish clingy finish. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Mild ipa hop aroma on an apple cider olfactory. Clear very pale light yellow. Yes, first taste makes this somewhat different, it seems like its trying to be a tuff apa. Then the conventional woodchuck sweet cider thang tries to poke thru. Quite different for a cider, you know, with the hops in there and such. Since I’m not a hop lover, glad to see the hops aren’t in your face. Good blend of mild green grapefruit rind on a sweet cider. Very good co2 as well. Not bad overall. Wish that the ubiquitous IPAs would take a civilized lesson from this stuff. Well balanced hoppy drink. Good citrus blend and feel to this one.
