Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark copper with very little head. Smoky aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is tart apple skin with smoke, finishing with quite a bit of smoke. If you like smoke, you should like this.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Thanks Worldofwood: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Lively creme head that disappears right away and leaves a headless clear orange to amber colored beer.
Aromas of yellow apples, smoked branches, hint of leather, light dusty, smoke, some other fruits with a light sweet character.
Flavour is lightly alcoholic, light acidic apples with a close to nasty malty bitterness, light wood smoke, light herbal, apples and some dryness. The bitterness becomes better with time.
Aftertaste is bitter, apple, smoke, herbs and some sweet coal.
Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy dry texture.
Was expecting, maybe more, maybe not, but was expecting a surprise and got it. Funny and quite tasty Cider. In balance with the smoke, just a less interesting bitterness...

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark amber. Sweat and smokey aroma. Tastes pleasantly smokey. Not overdone. Sort of like drinking applewood bacon. Would go great with grilled pork chops.

If you like drinking bacon, give it a go. Itís literally what it tastes like. Bacon with hints of spices and apple. I usually really like woodchuck. I wish I could get my money back, and thatís a first for any beer/cider for me.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a nice orange lacey head you could smell the smokeyness to it before tasting good apple flavor and that smoke lingered on the finish. Not to sweet some ciders are you know, I would drink it again if someone else was buying.

Terrible. This is an abomination. If you like to drink sweet smoked bacon juice then youíll probably love this. Sweet campfire. Reminds me of a rouchbier gone wrong. I hate it.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, no seen bottling date.
Appearance: Beautiful copper to garnet hue with excellent clarity, seriously the coolest color Iíve seen. Very little head, settles quickly into a white ring.
Aroma: Big smoke aroma, sort of ashtray like, but again with a big smoked meat aroma. Typical apple cider backs it, but the smoke is huge.
Taste: The smoke is much less prominent than the aroma indicates, but it still adds an odd sensation to a juicy refreshing cider. Smoked meats and apple could go well together, itís not that it doesnít, but I think it takes away from the refreshing qualities of a cider. Big juicy apple with a smoked meats finish.
Palate: Crisp and refreshing with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: Iím not in love with the idea. I get the smoked ham with apple vibe, but Iím not in love with the idea. What I love about a cider is that they are refreshing, the smoke takes away from the refreshment of this. This drinks nice though, it could pair well with food.
