2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling light golden pour, nice bubble action, tight white head. Aroma is that of artificial apple flavor like you find in bubble gum. Flavor is of a similar bent with some artificial apple, a touch of Granny Smith sourness, finish has a bit more real apple flavor to it - reminds me of golden delicious apples. Mouthfeel is crisp. Better than expected especially considering the low ABV and the "Gluten-free" label.

Easily my favorite of the woodchucks that ive tried! (which are the seasonal ones and then the 802). Sweet without a fake taste, and its fairly weak, so you could drink a lot of this. Only wish it was a 3.5 or maybe a 4 ABV..

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(bottle - 12 oz) Light gold pour with a fizzy white head. Light green apple aroma with some sugary candy. Flavor is apple and then nothing. Very odd and just doesnít taste like much.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Nose a little powdery and very tart, has strong jolly rancher overtones. Oh rather, thatís the entire substance of the thing. Pours pale yellow-golden with plenty of carb and a short white head, has a good bit of color to it, not sickly as other offerings can be. Tart, significantly sweet but not yet cloying, with an aspertame-like sweetness, more jolly rancher overtones but not enough to kill it. Medium-full body, seems clean enough beside the lingering suspicion of artificiality. Whatever, itís crisp and refreshing.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear yellow pour with no head, aroma brought notes of sour apple, caramel, some vanilla, cinnamon, slight apple skin. Taste is a mix of apple, caramel, some cinnamon, vanilla, apple skin, finishing sweet, slightly tart.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours brilliant golden with medium carbonation. Nose is of fresh apples. Body is medium and crisp. Sweet apples are balanced on the palate by pleasant tartness and acidity. Nice, refreshing cider.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
My least favorite of the Woodchuck series. It is too light in apple flavor with a way too dry champagne finish. As it warmed up it only got sweeter, but overall not much better.
