Sweet and cloying with an artificial granny smith aroma...it actually smells pretty good but is overpowering. I wonder if this has flavoring added? Anyway, one-note, too sweet, not very interesting.

Smells like a jolly rancher green apple. Appears slightly yellow. Well carbonated. Dry, light cider apple flavor compared to other woodchuck.

Yay for party cider. 12oz bottle in a taster. Dust, apple, and champagne yeast. Sweet but refreshing. Crisp I guess. Not bad.

Bottle on st Pattys day. Not much aroma, some sweetness detectable. Taste is sweet, apples and some tart notes. Somewhat dry finishing. High carbonation. Not my favorite.

Bottle fills the room with tartness, candyish and chewing gummish at first, but softened and reveled a bit of staleness soon after. Pours ultra pale yellow, essentially clear, with plenty of carbonation and a very short white head. Sharp, tangy taste, crisp and relatively dry with good apple flavor. Medium-full body, clean, quenching, refreshing. Really has a nice tang going on, some white wines would be envious.

We did a blind taste test with this cider and 4 other ciders to objectively determine which one is best. The other ciders were: Woodchuck, Angry Orchard, ACE, Hornsby’s, and Strongbow. You can check it out here:

Bottled. Clean yellow color, pretty still once poured. Light apple smell, more sweet than a Granny Smith should deliver. Taste has a slight tartness. Just not much character Which isn’t to say it’s not an apple-y distraction. It’s just nothing I’d make a U-turn for.

Hoping for a tart dry cider but it was rather sweet and thin tasting, not preferable to granny smith apples anyway but I the taste was crisp and a little tangy.

12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are apples. This one is crisper then most.

Poured into my Leinenkugel’s pint glass. Pours a very light, clear golden color with a lot of carbonation. Smell is very much champagne, but with bold tart apples and a touch of sugar. Taste is tart up front and on the finish, with some sweetness in the middle. There is some light sourness detected, but not much. Drinks a lot like champagne too with all the carbonation. Very easy to drink.
Overall: I wouldn’t say this is dry like the bottle says. It’s a sweet cider that is very tart. However you want to put it, it’s a very good cider.
