Bottle pour during football season. Of the seasonals with this cider - this is my least favorite. Billed as Winter Hard Cider.

This one was pretty good. The vanilla taste is almost too much for me, but I did like the chance at trying something different. Much sweeter than Woodchuck Amber.

Had aliased Woodchuck Winter. Bottle. Dark amber color. Oaky vanilla flavor. A little odd for a cider.

An almost orange color with a short lived bit of white foam. The nose is candy sweet with some hints of caramel and vanilla to go along with Smarties. Hints of oak, tart green apple, and some sugar. The flavor is sweet and sugary, too. Hints of caramel and vanilla, green apple, a light tartness, and some sugar/candy. Not bad, actually.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours amber with a modest off-white head and a strong apple aroma. There is a sweet apple flavor with a sort of honey taste and a huge oak finish. Complex and tasty.

Not sure about this. The cider was sweet and semi-tart green apples, typical woodchuck. The oak never seemed to sit with the apple but fought with it, nearly a clash. A bit cloying at times. I did not finish this with enthusiasm. Lifeless copper appearance.

Pours a clear copper color on tap with thin off-white lacy head. Aroma of apples, spice, and sweet vanilla on the back end. Taste follows, crisp and clean. Probably the best woodchuck out there.

12 oz. "Winter" aliased version. Typical cider look, but with a small lasting film of creamy bubbles. Nose of spicy-sweet apples drizzled with sugary vanilla icing. Flavor doesn’t show the sweetness, vanilla, or oak very much to my taste buds, but still a decent cider flavor with just a touch of tart and bitter pith. Seems a nice hint of oak shows up after a while in the long aftertaste. Light body has medium carbonation and is about as balanced as a cider can be.

Drank as Woodchuck Winter Cider on draught. Best of the Woodchuck offerings.

Bottle. Pours a very clear dark golden color with almost no head. Nose actually has a bit of wood in it with a fair amount of apple (obviously). Taste is heavily woody, actually. It mutes the cider aspects and makes it oddly unappealing.
