This was a surprise. I really enjoyed the flavors in this one. Nose has some light oak and vanilla qualities with a spicy apple and imitation blueberry fruitiness. Apple juice colored with no head. Taste is more of the nose with plenty of vanilla and fruity apples. On the sweeter side. Good stuff.

I love mixed packs. :) Woodchuck has done well here. Some definate notes of oak and vanilla, as advertised.

Pours dark gold, no head. Aroma of cinnamon and apples. Taste shows off the oak really well, way more noticeable than I thought it would, nice apple flavor not real bland as I expected but certainly no complexity.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear old gold color with no head, just a ring of white bubbles. Aroma is apples. What a surprise? Things that might be there, but might just be my imagination: wood, cinnamon...The wood definitely comes through in the taste. The oak imparts a little vanilla. The carbonation is average, body medium to near-thin. This is definitely the best Woodchuck I’ve had. I tried rating the Summer one but they wouldn’t let me! Too alcopopish I guess...

Bottle. Smokey smell and vanilla. Taste is sweet and syrupy. Not bad. Was expecting it to taste like every other woodchuck

12 ounce bottle. Pours a nice deep golden with a very thin white head that fades quick. Taste is of tart apples, wood and vanilla. Apple and wood aroma. Has a nice light sweetness to it. The body is nice and full. The finish is tart and dry. Easy to drink, enjoyable and worth picking up again.

Bottle - Pours brown amber, clear with a very thin off-white head. Mild sweet apples on the nose, with a touch of tartness and some mild baking spice. Taste is spiced cider, mild apple juice, and light cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Finishes with a crisp, tart twang that reminds me of champagne. Not very bold, and a bit boring.

Bottle; poured a clear amber gold with a whitish head. Aroma of apples, vanilla, and oak. Alot of vanilla in the flavor; some wine type notes. A mild apple undertone. Quite impressed.

Tastes like winter without tasting like Christmas. Not too much oak with just a hint of vanilla at the end. A good overall cold weather cider.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with no head. Aroma is apple. Apple cider and I may smell some oak but it could just be wishful thinking. Taste is light sour. Mostly sour green apple with a good hint of vanilla. Light bodied with a sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long, sour finish. Overall, not bad. Their barrel select is better but this probably has to be second best.
