COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

If you love pear you’ll love this. Very sweet. Smells just like pear with a hint of apple. Great for a hard cider. wasn’t a fan of the apple ciders but this one stands out.

Backlog. Pours straw yellow. Nose and taste of pear, apple and sugar. Lighter medium body. Pretty straightforward.

Bottle. Nose is dusty pear, pours very nearly clear with just a faint yellow tinge, short fizzy white head is gone in a few seconds, above-avg carb. Sweet taste, not too sweet, light-medium body fizzy rather than crisp, faintly tart, no bitterness. There’s some refreshment to be had here, but the overall flavor is more artificial than even some of their apple offerings.

2oz sample at International Great Beer Expo (Meadowlands). Pours an almost clear color with a yellowish tint. Aroma is sweet sugary apples and pears. Taste is the same. Overly sweet sugary pears and apples.

Bottle while trick or treating. Aroma has sweet fruits. Taste is of pear and apple and simple sugar. Light, crisp and not cloying. Refreshing enough. Shrug?

Not bad, but I’m not a fan of pear ciders, sweet, lots of pear, easy to drink, good stuff

Light aroma, slightly sweet taste reminiscent of Arbor Mist White Pear wine. Very scanty aftertaste.

Bottle. First pear cider, so what do I know anyway? Pours a pale white wine-like color with an interesting but very light almost floral-like aroma. Flavor is quite dry, without any real complexity, but refreshing. Not a go-to cider at all, but I could see this having a place in the fridge at times; maybe during the summer when something light and low ABV would be fine.
