COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

Lightly floral pear soadapop w/ some alcohol content. It tastes good and drinks like Kool-Aid which isn’t all bad. A bit sugary and sweet, mild and pretty refreshing. It does do what it’s supposed to do, I’ll give it that much.

Draft. Very pale yellow color, medium carbonation. Aroma and taste of moderate fruit, not too sweet. Nice stuff.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a clear very light yellow with no head. Aroma of sweet juicy pear. Taste is light sweet and light sour. Juicy pear and a little sour green apple. Light bodied with a thin yet sticky texture. Soft carbonation and a long sour finish. Overall, not bad. Not really my style but would be good in the summer.

clear and light like a white whine.Good carbonation.Nice pear aroma not strong but noticable with maybe a sweet vanilla and a little mild apple.Starts out somewhat sweet then pear with apple finishing crisp apple, not too dry prettty refreshing also.Light tasting with a balanced sweet/mild tartness. I like this less than their others.

Pours crystal clear with a very slight yellow tint, almost no head, but a high effervescence maintains some bubbles. Aroma is surprisingly strong with pears, vanilla sugar, and fruity floral notes. Flavor is again big on pear and vanilla sugar, a lightly tart, Jolly Rancher hard candy note is present as well, but doesn’t fit as well here as it does in some other ciders. Palate is light bodied and has a moderate, but sharp carbonation and slightly syrupy feel. Not bad, but on a whole it just tastes and smells too candy/soap/air freshener-like.

Tasted from bottle into standard pint glass. Pours a thin, light yellow color of thinned pear juce(duh) with almost no foam. Definite pear flavors and aromas, perhaps some apples in the mix. More dominance pear impression than Ace Pear Cider, for instance. Slightly less sweet and more tart/tangy than competing apple ciders. Sparkling, spritzy carbonation, very champagne-like. Fruity but mostly dry finish. Refreshing and drinkable.

Yeah, it’s not that good. But, for non-avid drinkers this cider might be pretty good for you. What I consider not that good, may be good to others. So I hate to demonize this cider just because I’m into higher quality drinks.

This cider pours up like champagne made from pears. Very bubbly throughout with loads of sweet pear aromas. Taste is very sweet with a dry, tart finish. Very refreshing on those hot summer days and would be excellent for the BBQ or fish fry! Pair it up with some grilled chicken or grilled fish!
