Pours a clear, light straw color; headless, with an occasional effervescent bubble from the bottom of the glass. Watery aroma, with some pears and sugar. Light mouthfeel, with a decent concentration of pear and light apple cider flavor; very simple, slightly sugary, assertive mineral character; quite drinkable, but a weakling. Light, mineral and pear finish; a bit overripe. bhensonb (4245), Woodland, California, USA

Very clean. Not all that pear. Something like apple skin comes through at the finish. Also a slightly cooked pear note. Finish is relatively dry. Arguably refreshing. fakepurseninja (777), Washington, USA

If you like pear juice with a zing, this is it. What else is there to say? If you have a wife who doesn’t really like alcoholic beverages and you want to get her drunk, give this a try (not that it would work for me). Otherwise, go for a beer instead. Pours a translucent golden color....zero head. Sweet fruity aroma...not sure if it’s a pear scent....whatever. Extra-fizzy, thin mouthfeel...as expected. Light pear (I think I convinced myself of that) flavor with a ton of sugary sweetness. I think I’d prefer a wine cooler. Nothing to rave about here. mg21497 (12), Columbus, Ohio, USA
