| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 19, 2007 Bottle. Pours typical of most ciders-- pale, yellow and highly carbonated. Faint notes of pear in the nose and in the flavor. Thin mouthfeel. shrubber85 (2886), Wallhalben, Germany
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Bottle. Sour pear aroma - reminds me of a pear schnapps I had in Austria once. Golden yellow. Mildly sweet pear juice - a bit more pear flavor comes out in the finish. Light and subtle - decent and drinkable. milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 12, 2007 Better than I expected, or RateBeer ratings. Very pale color, and thin body. However, I tasted and smelled pear! juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Poured a pale yellow color with no head. Hints of citrus fruits. Can’t really taste the pear at all. Tastes more like water with little carbonation. Woodchuck has better ones than this. JPDIPSO (4897), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 23, 2007 Very pale yellow liquid with a small white head. Sweet jelly bean aromas with hints of pears in a light syrup. Super sweet flavors. Pear syrup mixed with carbonated water. Some light dry apple in the finish. But its a sugary road leading to the end. Bleak! Suttree (2708), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 21, 2007 Pale yellow, no head. Very thin bodied. Smells like pear and sugar. Tastes like pear and sugar. I mean, really almost candyish sweet. Easy to pass up, unless you’re just dying to add "Perry" to the list of styles you’ve rated. Which I was. Pretty pathetic, really. csbosox (1080), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 18, 2007 12oz bottle found in my rental condo in Dillon, Co. The ingredients include citric acid and "natural’ pear flavor, nice! The color is yellow/green tinted water with a very small amount of carbonation. Served right from the fridge in a duvel tulip. Aroma is wildflower honey, lemon/citrus, and maybe a touch of pear, maybe some green apple too, not really sure though. The taste is both tart (kinda weird tart, maybe from citric acid?) and sort of like pears were opened across the room. The post fermentation sugar is also very apparent. Kinda like a mildly flavored alcoholic pear soda, makes me want to have some real perry to compare this to. Most of my lower rated beers had flaws, the only flaw in this is that it tastes like ass, clean, sweet, pear-like ass. Boliv (191), New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 26, 2007 Bottle. Easily the worst of all the Woodchuck ciders. I didn’t really catch the whole pear flavor, instead just some odd fermented fruit taste. Worth a try, but a one-time buy.
