Commercial Description:
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

Bottle from Party Source, KY. Light amber color with a small white head that diminished quickly. Medium green sweet fruit aroma. Light to medium body. Heavy sweet pear flavor with short sweet finish.

Pours a very light gold with no head. Smells like a sugary fruit drink. No big surprises in the flavor of this one. It is pear cider and tastes like it. Sweet, but not too sweet. No hint of alcohol. No wow factor, but good anyway. A

Nearly as clear as water in my steeler stein. Smells like many white belgian beers I’ve recently tasted. Tho sweeter, also has a high quality belgian white flavor. Interesting and delicious. No bubbles but nice carbonated palate on the finish. Fruity champagne impressions. No lingering aftertaste and does not have a trace of alcohol flavor. Taste is better than woodchuck granny smith and amber.

Clear, yellow greenish color, very sweet flavor. What i would call a girlie beer. Not something i’m into. Not bad just not great.

It is what it is; Pear cider. Almost completely clear slight pear juice yellow tint to the clear water body. Insignificant head but decent amounts of carbonation make it look like a Perrier. The aroma is like the heavy syrup in canned pears mixed with a bit of sweet champagne. The taste is very sweet and yet dry-ish in the finish. Hints of apple juice are blended in with the pear syrup. The mouthfeel is very much like a wine cooler. Is this actually beer? Spiked Fruit Juice maybe but beer? How unique. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

Pours a very clear, extremely pale gold. If fact, it’s just crystal clear with a tinge of gold. Lightly fizzy and no head at all. Aroma is dry pear blossom. Taste is a bit dry. Some sweetish pear to offset the dryness. Pure pear essence. Lightly sticky mouth. Simple but decent.

Bottled. Pours a very pale yellowish sort of color. Slightly sweet acidic aroma. Pretty sweet flavor. A hint of pears. Mostly tastes sugary sweet. Not bad.
