Very refreshing, but pears just don’t have a distinct flavor. This is great on a hot day, but not a drink to remember. radagast83 (1289), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Pear flavors, okay, but I’d rather drink a beer and eat a pear seperately. flemdawg (485), Naples, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 7, 2006 My wife wanted to try this, so of course I had to try it and rate it. It gave the apperance of water with just a bit of green and yellow food coloring added, no head, no lacing. The aroma was of the expected fresh crisp pears. The taste was more of the pears, but not so much over the top as I would have expected it to be. A bit sweet, but more refeshing. I am not a big fan of pears to begin with, but this wasnt a total waste. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Pours clear yellow-green with almost no head and small bubbles chasing up the glass. Nose is faint pear. Flavor is artificially sweet, rather chemical, not refreshing or crisp or particularly drinkable. Neh. cweb7 (39), Columbia, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2006 Bottled - Clear and a little watery. Although the smell and taste of the pears brings me back to the day of eating the pears off a tree in my backyard when I was a child. Low alcohol content though so don’t buy to get "wasted". ancherrera (161), Cape Coral, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2006 The pear is not too detectable. Tasted quite similar to the apple cider. Dry, sparkly fruity flavor. Lacked the tartness of the other ciders made from apple. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

The flavor was a nice change from the apple. The flavor was mostly pear but there is the slight hint of apple as well. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Very pale gold body, very similar to a white wine, no head whatsoever. Pear is evident in the aroma, some alcoholic accents to it. Heavy, almost medicine like taste... reminds me of the pink amoxicillin liquid I used to have as a kid. Dull pear ending.
