Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Oct 3, 2005 Updated: Oct 6, 2005very strong smell and taste of pears and nothing else. hard to tell its got alchol in it. more like juice for adults. so sweet. I can’t have more than one or I feel sick. JK (2946), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Sep 27, 2005 The aroma is simple pears canned with vanilla. Lightly carbonated, and very light yellow. Not as sweet as ACE pear; though not very dry either. A fairly light cider overall, but not unpleasant. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Sep 21, 2005 Like the other woodchucks, the pear cider lives up to its name. Strongly smells and tastes like pears. MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 11, 2005 So so ish. Kind of bland really. This replaced the much better Colonial style. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Jul 30, 2005 Light and refreshing, but nothing too interesting going on here. The pear is dull and there’s too much of it. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA Jul 29, 2005 Light in body and taste, not bad. Pleasant without trying too much for flavor--in the summer for a drink, that’s actually a pretty good thing. TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Jul 24, 2005 Pours a very very pale straw. Has a tiny white head with sparkling effervesence. Very mild aroma of pear with some notes of apple. Starts very sweet and finishes fairly dry. Thin bodied, with vigorous carbonation. Tastes like pear champagne. Plain and uninteresting. Nejhleader (924), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2005 wasn’t a big fan of this one. It was too sour/sweet. I’ll stick with woodchucks amber if i’m going in their direction.
