nickd717 (1276), Palo Alto, California, USA Aug 3, 2009 Bottle at Brickskeller, finished half of it after my friend who ordered it left without drinking it. First perry I’ve rated! This isn’t really too bad overall. Clear yellowish-green color with a short-lived fizzy white head. Pear and green apple aroma. Flavor more of the same. Palate pretty light with high carbonation. Nothing too special but it’s a decent summer drink. tedovertu (259), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA Aug 1, 2009 Bland and unimaginative. Looks like a white wine and tastes like water mixed with a small amount of apple juice. Not very good. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Aug 1, 2009 Sampled at the 8th Annual Music City Brewer’s Festival. Clear yellow-green, white fizz. Aroma is pear, green apple tartness, sugar. Taste is the same, sweet green apples and pears. halfonit (424), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Jul 16, 2009 Good on a hot and humid summer day, but that’s it. Has hardly any type of pear flavor or aroma. beerchugger (286), Colorado, USA Jul 14, 2009 Smelled rather medicinal, a slight hint of sour pears mixed with sweetness. Then the flavor is so overly sweet from the sugars that are added and yet this is still medicinal and astringent in the finish. Not enjoyable at all. ben4321 (960), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jul 14, 2009 Overall Impression:
I wanted to like this one, as I generally like Pears more the apples, but something about it just didn’t work quite right for me... Rustyham (552), miami, Florida, USA Jul 3, 2009 Waxy, chapstick like flavor and palate. Like a pear flavored lip gloss on sale at the local pharmacy. Like making out for the first time in Middle school with a girl who collects Lisa Frank stickers and make-up. On Tap at Yard House, Coral Gables. kddewees (33), Muncie, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2009 Aroma is fruity, pear being the most predominate. Kind of watery and not a lot of flavor is present. Goes down smooth.
