mirdreams (1), New York, New York, USA does not count Jul 22, 2004 This is hands down my favorite cider. It’s incredibly crisp and refreshing, without a strong aftertaste or what have you. Eminently drinkable, I like to have it with a burger but it’s light enough to pair with fish or chicken. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA Jul 14, 2004 Got this from the distributor as a mistake so I figured I’d pour a couple of pints before sending it back. Clear, light pale appearance, good carbonation. Mild apple/pear aroma. Sweet artificial pear sugar flavor, dry and crisp in the finish. Lighter in flavor and not as sweet as Wyder’s. BuckNaked (1204), Tempe, Arizona, USA Jul 12, 2004 Bottle: I’ll state right off that I’m not a big fan of hard cider. This one is very easy to drink though. Aroma has lots of pear, with some apple towards the back. Taste has pear & apple with near perfect carbonation that tingles the tongue and allows just a small amount of tartness to come through towards the end. Very refreshing. Not very complex though. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Jun 21, 2004 Right up there with Woodchuck’s other renditions of cider...nothing special but nothing horrific either. Very Pale Yellow...sweet to syrupy. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 15, 2004 This is an aweful cider. Their is a faint pear taste, otherwise you are drinking what tastes like water with some sugar added. Definately not worth drinking unless it is free and there is nothing better around. firemedic713 (169), Palm Bay, Florida, USA Jun 4, 2004 Guess what? Tastes like pears. Kinda weird but refreshing I suppose. Might get again. desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA May 27, 2004 Fizzy yellow body with no head. Tastes like *surprise* pears, not too sweet but pleasant. I’m not a huge fan because I don’t like pears all that much, but this is good for what it is. Cobra (1060), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA May 22, 2004 12 oz. green bottle. No freshness date seen or noticed. Poured out a brilliant, bright yellow color. It had a small white head at first, but slid back to a thin ring of foam around the sides of the glass. Sweet aromas of pears, and slight perfume as well. Tastes were of pears, apples, slight yeasty bite. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Thick enough to coat the tongue, but not overpowering or cloying. Tart finish to it. A good cider overall.
