Commercial Description:
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

I’m going to try something way different. Actually passed this at the store many times, but I succumbed to the curiosity. This foo-foo drink is finally in my hand. Pours yellow even light green. Smells of something Jones Soda would make, well, and tastes like it, also. Candy and sugar smells. Tastes of sweet pear. No head, but soda carbonation. Very weird. Tastes more like green apple Jolly Ranchers. No alcohol presence at all. Very tart, but refreshing.

Ttap and rattlenhum. Pours extremely pale, no head. Carbonation is ripe. Very sweet and sugary, but not syrupy. Pears, green apples, and candy mouth and nose. Not tangy. Slightly better than i expected.

Pours a very light pale color, almost like water. Crisp head with a lively carbonation. The aroma is sweet, fruity, pear, mild spicy character. Flavor is fruity and sweet, mildly crisp, pear, mildly spicy, not very tart. The palate lively, had a soda feel.

Clear pale green-gold with light bubbles / Clean, perfumed, soapy nose of apples and pears / Medium body, moderately sweet, fat with low but fine carbonation, and fair finish / Clean, perfumey, somewhat simple flavors of apples, pears, honey, and a touch of soap / Relatively simple, but a very pleasant cider (and a cut above most Woodchucks).

Pours a clear hue of yellow. Very sweet aroma of pears. Taste of pears. A bit too sweet for my liking but not bad. Refreshing finish. Not the best woodchuck by any stretch. However, it’s a decent perry.

Nearly clear yellow-green. No head. Strong sweet aroma of fruit. Very sweet syrupy flavor and mouth feel. Some pear in the finish.
