COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

It smells like pear and tastes like pear with high carbonation. It must be pear cider. Could be refreshing I guess ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a very clear and light yellow. Bubbly, artificial carbonation. Aroma of sweet pear candy and very floral. The taste is very well balanced with fresh pear, crisp acidity, and sweet fruit. A bit too flowery to session, but one is very good.

Pours of almost clear yellow like rusty water. Aromas of champagne, tart candy pear juice, slight bubblegum, light sour apple. Despite what it "could" be, the aromas still are pleasent to my taste. I think the flavors are not what they "could" be, but none the less are pleasing. Its like candied pear flavoring, light sour apple, reminders of bubblegum, and smarties candy. Has a light cripsness, medium to high sweetness, refreshing, different, and ends with a light dryness. Not a cider I could find drinking more than one in a session because of the sweetness and flavors. It does start to get a little cloying after a while. Still very tasty though. Interesting.

Of course we like Woodchuck pear. Pear is one of my favorite fruits! It’s cold, clean, and refreshing. Rob described it as "so yum."

Tap. Light yellow, no head. Smells lightly longer pear with a sour note. Tastes kind of funky sweet. Damn, I used to like this 10+ years ago. Now its just kind of meh.

12 oz bottle pours yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste of pears. Weird taste, I guess people drink these. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Overall I like it, but it’s like the bud light of ciders. Not much scent to it- very light. Doesn’t kick you like most ciders. Sweet and smooth, but not overly impressive.

Not on the level of Amber or Granny Smith, but certainly better than 99% of popular malt beverages available. Pear flavor not as strong as it would appear.

Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with no head or lacing. Aroma is sweet esters and fruit. Taste is sweet and tart pear, almost too sweet. Good cider, but not what I like to drink.

Pours amazingly thin with no discernible head to detect a fully-carbonated cider. Smells of Splenda, table sugar, apricot skins, and sink water. Tastes of candied apples, pureed pears, yeast and honey alcohol. Fucking nice for the style!
