Commercial Description:
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

The pear definitely comes through. In fact, that’s it for the profile. Fizzy, clear, nearly colorless. Recommend with Nutella and toast.

Pours a clear but light brown. Small white head. The nose is sticky sweet and fruity, but I cannot necessarily pick out pear. More a blend of pear, apple and others. The taste is also sweet apple and pear. This is very fruit juice like. Sweet finish as well. Not horrible but more a carbonated fruit juice than an alcoholic drink.

Too sweet for my tastes. If you like cider I guess its not bad.

The aroma is simple pears canned with vanilla. Lightly carbonated, and very light yellow. Not as sweet as ACE pear; though not very dry either. A fairly light cider overall, but not unpleasant.

Right up there with Woodchuck’s other renditions of cider...nothing special but nothing horrific either. Very Pale Yellow...sweet to syrupy.

Fairly sweet aroma is suggestive of pear flavoured boiled sugar candy. Clear pale coloured body with plenty of bubbles but no lasting head. Fairly sweet and sugary pear flavour. Spritzy carbonation does not last in the light body. Sampled on the PA trip 2005.

From bottle poured light yellow with very little head. Nice flavor of pears that was not too sweet.
