Commercial Description:
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

Pours almost completely clear like water with a slight yellow tinge. Aroma is fruity and of pears. Flavor is very pearish. And that’s about it. On tap.

Easy fruity beer to drink. I wouldn’t buy again but it tastes good. I like the other Woodchuck ciders more than this one.

Pours clear pale greenish color with almost no head. Faint aroma of pears. Mildly sweet, watered down pear flavor. Light body with average carbonation. Nothing special, but I would still rather have one of these than most light beers.

This cider starts off with kind of a weak sweetness, half apple, half pear. After the first bottle , it became too sweet. Won’t buy again.

6/23/08 From the bottle. Aroma is tart on pour, but quickly fades to simple, very low sweetness. Appearance is clear and almost colorless, with just a hint of straw. Flavor is a light blend of apple and pear flavors with medium sweetness; very clean. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with only the faintest of tartness in the finish. Overall, pretty easy drinking, but not a ton of character.
