Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Proof Brewing Company. Light copper pour, off-white head. Nutty and oaky aroma. Flavor has some bubble gum accents, a nice dollop of oak woodiness, crisp apples and a back end of amaretto. Thick enough mouthfeel. A nice change of pace for a cider.

Delicious. One of my favorites. Sweet, but not too sweet. Just crisp enough. Deep golden red color. Aged in bourbon barrels, gives it a smoky, caramel-y flavor.

355ml green bottle. What? A woodchuck cider that is over 5%!? Still not a dry cider sweet bourbon notes atop a medium sweet cider bill.

Not as pictured, much darker in a brown bottle. Neutral smell. A fairly dark cider. Almost pale brown, one of the darker ciders I can remember. Decent co2 but could use more. Slight sweet with volatile flavors, fer sure you can tell its higher alky. Not sure if the sweet accents make it better or make it hurt. Overall not bad but a little cloying with the variety of unfermented stuff in there. Disappointing for a cider.

This is my favorite cider, and arguably my favorite beer (if you can call it that). This has a great combination of dry bourbon flavor with sweet Woodchuck cider, all tied together with a great crisp finish. The flavor is there, the mouthfeel is on point, and the aroma is amazing. To make Woodchuck Amber better, it needed something to make it slightly less sweet, with a smokey-ish flavor to balance it out a bit. This is what it needed. It’s hard to say what could be done to make this cider much better.

Sweeter bourbon and more prevalent barreling than my favorite cider, Stagger Lee. Pours the color of bourbon. Nice all around, good balance between bourbon oak and apple, whereas SL was more subtle. Warming lingering crisp sweet finish."

Very awesome for a cider. Strong sweetness and sugary, but the bourbon really makes the cider shine.

Crushed a bottle. Aroma is candied apple, vanilla, and maple syrup. Pours amber with a small fizzy head. Taste is caramel apple, slight oak vanilla and pancake maple syrup. Far too much pancake taste for what I was hoping for. Would not repeat this one.

12oz bottle. Pours burnt orange with hints of red. Aroma of wood, smoke, peat, candy apple. Flavor is smoky, wood, apple, caramel. This is my first rating of a cider and I am ridiculously impressed. It is like a sweetened, less harsh bourbon or a much less sweet apple juice that tastes like bourbon. win win.

From notes.....Bottle at home. Oak, caramel, woody, candy apple, sweet. Like liquified alcoholic candy corn. Some maple notes in there, too. Excellent.
