Standard Woodchuck sweet apple aroma with hints of vanilla. Flavor is sugary apples, light spiciness with oaky vanilla bourbon coming through in the end. Meh, it’s alright.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Tortman18 (81) - Batavia, Illinois, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Beautiful golden with pure white cap of head. Almost no carbonation which is surprising to me. Aroma reminds of Christmas. Apple Cider, spice, cinnamon, and a slight bourbon note. Mouth is decent. Very sweet Cinnabon, apple cider, cloves, nutmeg. Definitely out of my normal beer repitiore, but good none the less.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Chuckaduck (490) - Kentucky, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle. 5/10/13. Pours translucent red with a quick to leave, bubbly white head. Aroma is apples, some sourness, whiskey, caramel, cereal, some farmyard. Taste is tart, apple, berries, bread, spicy, whiskey, some wood and something unfamiliar to me (Umami?). Nice. No lacing. Medium-high carbonation; good here. Full-bodied but not overly chewy. Overall, pretty nice. A great, tasty, highly accessible cider for the more discriminating palates out there.

12 oz. bottle- Pours clear rust color. The aroma is apples of course, I do get the bourbon barrels, very interesting. The taste is wow, weird, strong bourbon and oak flavors, dominating the taste, apple comes second, vanilla and some toasted flavors. This is the most unique cider I have ever had, not as chuggable as the ones I am used to, but so much more unique, and it doesn’t just taste like apple juice like most of the ones I have had, very good. I am glad I had a chance to try this, compliments of my beer of the month club through Enoteca.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 alexanderj (3053) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle; poured an auburn or dark orange type color; aroma of apples and bourbon; some wood and cookies. Flavor had alot of the bourbon and molasses to it; maple syrup like. Apples just provide a touch of sweetness, fruit, and crispness. Good, but almost too over the top in molasses syrup.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 jmikolich (1110) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Tap at buckeye, quite surprising in fact, a sweet chewy cider lots of vanilla but no alcohol burn, the sweetness blends nicely with the apples, crisp drying of the tongue too
