A handcrafted treasure, the ultra-limited edition Private Reserve Belgian White, is crafted with a classic Belgian beer yeast. Cloudy, with a rich golden hue, it presents a delicate aroma and taste, with coriander and orange notes. It pares excellently with seafood fare, mixed greens or sharp cheeses. Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellowish orange with medium white head, minimal lacing. Aroma obvious of apple, but undertones of vanilla, yeast, grass, cinnamon, and bubblegum. Flavor matches well and makes for a surprisingly well rounded and intense cider. Not overly sweet like most ciders and altogether one hell of a drink.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours murky amber with a thin off-white head and a golden delicious apple aroma. There is an apple and citrus flavor that is very subtle. A pleasant sipping cider.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy amber with a transient bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of cooked apples and light citrus. About med body. Flavor is very pleasant. Apple, wood, mild citrus. Finishes a bit less than dry. Itís even a little astringent. It drinks quite easily. One of the better Woodchucks IMHO.

4/30/12 bottle. pale golden and slightly hazy. tiny white ring for a head but active carbonation. aromas of odd spices on top...along with musty apple, bubble gum, white grape, some woodiness and sulfury yeast. the flavor is the same....kinda alsatian white with the yeast and grape. apple and bubble gum in the aftertaste with a moderately tart finish. medium body, quite acidic. interesting at least....6/3/6/3/14

4/26/12. On tap. Slightly hazed golden orange pour with a small khaki head. Mixed aroma of sweet, slightly tart apples with bits of orange peel. Sweet apple flavor with more touches of orange and a lingering touch of spice. Eh.

Cloudy yellow, no head. This looks like an uncarbonated wit. Aroma is yeasty apple, orange, citrus, light spicing. Taste is the same. This is interesting in concept and execution.
