Private Reserve Ginger combines a crisp apple cider with sharp ginger and citrus undertones. This perfect balance in taste pairs excellently with chicken, spicy stir-fry, and fruit salad.

Pour out of bottle at Art and Ale, clear orange with white head, aroma brought notes of garbage and baby diaper, I kid you not, some slight ginger, apple comes in but its very odd and not appealing. Taste is much better, some nice snappy ginger with hints of apple and caramel, finishing fairly sweet.

Itís a cider. It has ginger notes...which is a good combo with apple. Wish there was more to say...nothing groundbreaking or exceptional but nicely drinkable. Seems a little higher in ABV than most ciders I have had. Added plus...Iím drinking my sonís stash...nice :)

Nose is rather medicinal. Mouth feel is denser than most ciders. Higher alcohol is not noticeable. Nice blend of two old-time traditions, ginger beer and cider. Substantial and refreshing. Iím not one to have cider with ice, but this one has enough flavor and body to stand up to that.

Bottle. Fresh apple and candied ginger aroma. Clear pale yellow. Sweet / tart apple and slightly spicy ginger flavor. Light crisp body, on the sweet side of dry. Iím a huge ginger fan, so I dug this in a big way.

Bottle shared with krista and kristen. Clear very pale yellow pour with no head. Ginger on the nose and flavor, but the underlying bitter/crisp apple shows through. Its kinda like a honey sweetness, but with a drying white grape skins. Floral as well. Kinda acidic on the palate, with ginger undertones. Glad they are trying new stuff, but this didnít really do it for me. The angry orchard version was better than this.

12 oz bottle. Cider poured an amber color with just a small white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is apples with touches of ginger spice. Flavor is apples, spices and some strong ginger-like notes.

Pours almost completely clear with pale yellow hue. Little lacing very small head, light body, , and very light ginger aroma. Taste is ginger and some dry apple. Not one of Woodchuckís offerings I enjoy.
