Private Reserve Ginger combines a crisp apple cider with sharp ginger and citrus undertones. This perfect balance in taste pairs excellently with chicken, spicy stir-fry, and fruit salad.

Bottle - free tasting at Bert’s Better Beers in Hooksett, NH. Very pale yellow pour. Nice ginger element to balance out the tart apple. Cool beverage.

pale yellow. very clear. no head whatsoever. significant ginger mutes lots of sweetness. unique for a cider, but i’m not crazy about it.

12oz bottle poured into bottle. Wasn’t really expecting ginger in this one but it was there! The ginger apple spice mix goes really well together.

Very pale, greenish gold with no head whatsoever. Meh label. Mild ginger aroma. Bitter, moderate astringency from both the apple and the ginger. Straightfoward, but I think I liked the Boston Beer ginger that came out recently slightly more. Enjoyable, screams for a big bowl of green chicken curry, or some fresh spring rolls. ABC, Bull Run.

Apple nose, semi sweet and well rounded. Crystal clear, pale greenish-yellow. Even blend of apple and ginger, with unexpected and pleasant appearances of bubble gum. Not hot or spicy. Ginger is used very well to compliment the cider rather than dominate it. Not as intense as it could be, but nice balance.

Bottle. Light blond pour with a short, fading, fizzy white head. Aroma is apple juice with ginger notes. Sweet aroma, overall. Taste is ginger, candied apple, apple juice and ginger ale notes. Body is light-medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Ends with more apple juice, ripe apple, ginger notes and candied fruit.

6/22/12. 12oz bottle. Super clear light goldenish pour... verrrrrry light color, with no head at all and no lacing. The aroma is sweet apple juice and a bit of yeast all the way, with a certain herbal bite that eventually shows itself as ginger. The flavor is sweet apple juice with a definite almost Asian ginger bite. Not spicy by any means, but it’s definitely there on top of the yeast and an almost bubblegum aspect. Meh.

Tallahassee, Fl - Fermentation Market - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling light golden pour, initial white bubbly head, nice bubble action. Aroma of fresh cut golden delicious slices with a hint of the kind of ginger you get with your sushi. Flavor has some nice clean apple notes, Granny Smith comes to mind with an enticing underlying presence of ginger and basil. Crisp mouthfeel. Pretty solid.
