Private Reserve Ginger combines a crisp apple cider with sharp ginger and citrus undertones. This perfect balance in taste pairs excellently with chicken, spicy stir-fry, and fruit salad.

Bomber. Pours clear, barely a yellow hue, small bubbles, no head. Looks like white wine. Aroma is ginger, with some sweet apple undertones. Taste is light, dry, refreshing, taste like a light wine. One of the better woodchucks, much more my style over the sweet ciders.

Apple nose, semi sweet and well rounded. Crystal clear, pale greenish-yellow. Even blend of apple and ginger, with unexpected and pleasant appearances of bubble gum. Not hot or spicy. Ginger is used very well to compliment the cider rather than dominate it. Not as intense as it could be, but nice balance.

12oz bottle poured into bottle. Wasnít really expecting ginger in this one but it was there! The ginger apple spice mix goes really well together.

Bomber from a Safeway as Woodchuck Cellar Series Ginger (6.9%). Pours perry color with a few bubbles. Very light ginger over mild cider for aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is clean, mild ginger, and a cider that is not too much "skin". Quite drinkable. More ginger wouldnít hurt.

Tap at Rattle & Hum NYC sept 2012. Really pale yellow cider with no head. Fruity and ginger aroma. Nice ginger flavour, a bit sweet with some apple and grassy notes.

Bottle at a work event. From notes. Loads of apples with a decent ginger backbone. Pretty darn good thing.

bottle - Pours pale yellow and smells of green apples and ginger. It has a sweet apple flavor with clear but not overpowering ginger. Itís sweet but not as sweet as many of the Woodchuck ciders, which is a good thing. Tasty cider.

Nose is rather medicinal. Mouth feel is denser than most ciders. Higher alcohol is not noticeable. Nice blend of two old-time traditions, ginger beer and cider. Substantial and refreshing. Iím not one to have cider with ice, but this one has enough flavor and body to stand up to that.

Bottle. Fresh apple and candied ginger aroma. Clear pale yellow. Sweet / tart apple and slightly spicy ginger flavor. Light crisp body, on the sweet side of dry. Iím a huge ginger fan, so I dug this in a big way.

Bottle. Clear blanc in color with a thin white head. Aroma of apple, ginger and mint. Apple juice flavor with ginger character before a sweet finish.
