3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Btl pours clear amber color,no head, light bubbles no lacing. Smells like apple jolly rancher candy and subtle pumpkin pie spice. Has taste of caramel, apples and cream soda and a hint of gourd. Kind of has that holiday flavor:cinnamon, brown sugar, allspice. Has a slippery mouthfeel, light body, minimal carbonation with a slight bitter finish. First cider rating. Pretty good flavor, just to sweet for me. Decent cider to drink on a cool fall evening.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Grabbed one of these for the holidays a while back. I guess we are allowed to rate these now. Pours a golden orange color with bubbles quickly floating to the top. Aroma of rotten pumpkins, a little spice, apples, vomit, sweet sugar. Flavor follows that aroma closely with rotten pumpkin and comit flavors behind sweet apple cider. Medium carbonation and heavier bodied for a cider. Overall I thought this was pretty awful.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Leesburg. Pours a clear copper color with a thin fizzy tan head. Pumpkin and tart apple aroma with a bit of earth. The taste is tart apples and a mild bit of pumpkin. Thin bodied.

I guess this one is finally rateable? This was overall a pretty decent cider, but I didn’t get a balance of sweetness or spice to really make me love it. Pumpkin was definitely present, but the crisp bite was always on top - which isn’t really good or bad. Maybe pumpkin just wasn’t represented enough here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a golden orange/amber color with a very thin off-white head that doesn’t last. Smells of apples, pumpkin, spices. Tastes of apples, light pumpkin. Light body with a semi-dry finish. Lingering pumpkin after the finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From notes: Poured clear amber with some bubbling along the glass and a small, thin white head. Cidery aroma with some pumpkin and a touch of spice. Medium body. Fizzy, with a touch of oil. Typical cider flavor, with some pumpkin and a lingering note of nutmeg underneath.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle pours a copper amber color with a razor thin off white head that leaves no lacing. Smells of apples, pumpkin and spices. Tastes the same as it smells. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with good carbonation and semi dry finish. Good but not as good as the Ace pumpkin cider. The pumpkin and spices come out more if you drink it while eating spicy food. I also like the high abv definitely higher than average ciders.

Bottle. Had this last year when it was still unrateable. Literally tasted like pumpkin pie vomit. Absolutely awful.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Minimal pumpkin flavor but some vegetal notes that cut the acidity of the apple cider. Actually Woodchuck’s fall cider is how I hoped this would taste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear copper, like whiskey, no head. Aroma is typical of sweet ciders with a cloy candy apple nose, but this time with a touch of Christmastime aroma. The flavor is earthy and pumpkinesque with candy red apple flavors and a sweet champagne yeast finish. Pretty tasty, though just a bit too sweet for its own good.
