Woodchuck Private Reserve Pumpkin is limited to only two and a half hours on our production line. Fresh and crisp with pumpkin at the finish, it’s crafted to be served at 45 degrees and pairs perfectly with roasted duck, turkey, squash ravioli as well as creme brulee and fresh cheesecake. Be part of the select few who get to savor this small batch.

Aroma of fruit and hint of pumpkin, almost a bubblegum scent. Drank from the bottle. Not too thick on the taste and was refreshing, tasted more alcohol than pumpkin. No aftertaste with a good texture. Would buy again, glad I have four left, going to try with turkey/duck.

This is a great cider. It’s distinctive enough to make it something special. It’s a standout among seasonal ciders! Appley at the start, and pumpkiny at the finish... It’s not too complex but it does what it does well.

Bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a golden orange/amber color with a very thin off-white head that doesn’t last. Smells of apples, pumpkin, spices. Tastes of apples, light pumpkin. Light body with a semi-dry finish. Lingering pumpkin after the finish.

Very nice and spicy. Some cinnamon features in addition to the obvious ones. I liked it much.

I’m normally not a cider drinker nor a pumpkin eater but this ok. It doesn’t taste like pumpkin pie or other halloweeny beers which I what I was expecting. So it tastes a little weird but it isn’t a bad hard cider.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2013 Bottle. Clear, medium brown pour, moderate carbonation. Aroma is light apple, but I have trouble finding any pumpkin there. Flavor is intense, leans a bit too sweet, and has sweet apples out front, with a subtle flavor of real pumpkin and an equal amount of pumpkin pie spices. Decent cider for the season, but it’s just a little too sweet for my palate. Would probably opt for their Fall cider over this.

Crystal clear copper orange with a thin white ring of foam. Smells like fresh apple cider with a very slight bit of spice. Taste is much the same and seems like got a light dose of fall spices but no noticeable pumpkin. Sweetness is held in check and it’s a tasty cider with fresh apple taste. Good overall but not quite as unique or interesting as I was hoping for.

Drank from the bottle. Tastes like creamy pumpkin pie. Wish it had some pumpkin spice flavor to go with it . hard to drink more than one bottle.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear copper pour with a fizzy white head. Floral and spice in the nose with a very mild underlying hint of apple. Slightly odd flavor at the start, almost like a fermented pumpkin pie but then smooths out to a pumpkin pie, cinnamon and nutmeg middle. Smooth and sweet on the finish. Different but kind of good.

Clear copper, like whiskey, no head. Aroma is typical of sweet ciders with a cloy candy apple nose, but this time with a touch of Christmastime aroma. The flavor is earthy and pumpkinesque with candy red apple flavors and a sweet champagne yeast finish. Pretty tasty, though just a bit too sweet for its own good.
