The sounds of the lapping lake-shores, the mountain views, and memories of fresh picked blueberries, now in a convenient six-pack. Exhibiting a slight tartness, this cider begins with a full, robust flavor followed by a rich summertime taste.

On tap @ Yard House Costa Mesa. Golden pour with a hint of peach color and a short lived layer of white foam. Kind of sugary and sweet. Blueberry syrup, apple juice, and sugar on the nose. Taste is the same: cloying, syrupy, sugary. Blueberry flavoring, apple juice, and maybe a hint of sour apple candy. Soda-like.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a completely transparent very light (almost clear) gold with very thin fizzy white head that quickly dissipates into thin lacing. Smells of mild cider with a touch of blueberry in the background. Doesn’t seem sugary like many Woodchucks, which is nice. Tastes like it smells, but more appley, with a medium-light to medium-bodied mouthfeel. A decent cider.

Pour is a almost clear water with just a hint of yellow. Aroma is sweetness and not much of the apples or blueberries. Flavor is just more of the sweetness and not much else. I only got this b/c a do like blueberries but this has no blueberry flavor at all. Not much apple also, just a teeth hurting sweetness.

Bottle from Roth’s, Hayesville. Very light off-golden color. Fairly tart nose is a mix of apples and blueberries. Somewhat sweet apples up front, followed by a bit of sour tartness. The blueberry flavor seems to linger in the background. A touch of some vinous notes as well.

[2/21/15] Draught at Winter Brew Fest 2015 in San Diego. Clear yellow. Sweet apples aroma, a bit sugary. Sweet sugary apples flavor. Quite sweet but enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours clear light orange with minimal white head. Aroma is sweet, apples, floral, a touch of cranberry. Taste is sweet, high carbonation, light bodied. Overall, okay.

It said blueberry on the package, but I didn’t really get that possibly because it is a summer seasonal in December. Not very tart or crisp like I prefer a cider to be...mostly just sweet and fruity. It tastes rather cheap, but I am sure it would be fine in the middle of July.

I was expecting winter or fall, but now I know why this 12 pack was on sale. Oops. Pours an extremely light gold--almost colorless--with a small amount of fizz. Aroma is golden delicious, some pear. Taste is sweet, light, with a satisfying tart fruity finish. Very light and refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised by this cider.

Appearance: pours with no head, the beer is very clear and is a very light gold color Aroma: apple, blueberries, Taste: strong blueberry throughout, has some apple to it, tart, moderate sweetness, very tangy Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, minimal sweet aftertaste Overall: not a bad cider, pretty much the blueberry and tanginess dominate the senses ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the Brass Tap after Castro totally ordered every cider on the menu. For the life of me, it looks and tastes like a Woodchuck cider. I think I might have tasted blueberry, but it might just be suggestion from the bottle.

Bottle at home. Flowery, fruity aroma. Apples, grapes, berries. Good carbonation. Complex finish shows notes of chardonnay, green peach, and blueberries. Very good.
