On tap @ Yard House Costa Mesa. Golden pour with a hint of peach color and a short lived layer of white foam. Kind of sugary and sweet. Blueberry syrup, apple juice, and sugar on the nose. Taste is the same: cloying, syrupy, sugary. Blueberry flavoring, apple juice, and maybe a hint of sour apple candy. Soda-like.

12oz bottle. Appearance is a pretty standard golden amber, maybe a bit lighter from the blueberry juice they add. Taste is of sweet berries, tart apples, and lightly floral. Light in body and pretty fizzy, it drinks more like a soda than a cider, it’s great on hot days. Honestly I’d say this is one of my favorite ciders. Like I said it’s great on summer days, especially when paired with a good burger and some pasta salad. This cider is pretty simple, and does what it sets out to do, which is to be a refreshing beverage after a long summer’s day.

Bottle. Pale mostly clear pour with a hint of pink/orange in the color. Sweet apple aroma and taste. Some white wine grape in here too. Pretty tasty.

Bottle. Clear, golden color. Aroma is really nice. The blueberry-apple essence really makes your mouth water. The taste is nice too. The blurberry is nicely balanced and not overpowering. Really good.

Bottle from Brass Tap. Pours a super clear light straw. Light head. Aroma is apples and other fruit. Some tart notes. Flavor is super sweet, apples and perhaps some blueberries? Not overly so. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle - This cider is very straightforward. It has a pleasant apple and blueberry smell. The flavor very sweet with apples and a healthy dose of sweet blueberry flavor. It’s fairly good though as is typical for Woodchuck it’s sweeter than I’d like.

Love the blueberry notes in this cider. I am a huge fan of the woodchuck seasonal ciders, and while this one is not favorite, it’s still delicious. I love that it doesn’t taste like an unnaturally flavored thick syrup like some flavored ciders do.

Bottle at a work event. From notes. Sweet and tart apples dominate. A decent fakeass blueberry jolly-rancher type flavor in there too. Meh, drinkable but not really my thing.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is pretty standard cider, with a bit more caramel than some perhaps. The flavor is just semi-sweet with a nice juicy fresh apple juice flavor. There’s a bit of baked apple on the finish, but otherwise not sure why this is deemed a ’summer cider’ versus all the others in the Woodchuck lineup. Lightly clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Decent enough if you want a sweet cider.

A hard cider, blueberry taste, rather easy drinking, could have a few. Decent.
