SilkTork (3853), Rochester, Kent, England Aug 3, 2008 Kent Beer Fest, The Cow Shed, Canterbury. Rancid orange and tobacco. Somewhat earthy. Fresh marmalade comes through in the finish. Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Clasic British aroma with some fruit and some vitamin C. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet malt and fruit. Subdued bitterness. This is too grassy like every beer ive had from Wooden Hand. CQC (214), Sydney, Australia Jul 15, 2008 welll. Guinness without th colour, & very bitterish with the bitter. Toke a few mouthfuls to get inteh swing - but was glad to to get to the end of the pint.
Watery small buble - Irish stouty - ney english clouty Svesse (1621), Hässelby, Sweden Jun 14, 2008 (Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 13 June 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of orange, apricots, hay and biscuity malt. Fruity, floral taste with pears, peaches, hints of acacia honey and grassy, floral hops in the finish. Fresh and nice with a hoppy edge.
