In Ireland the stout is know as Mothers Milk. We have taken that one step further and added a healthy dose of milk sugar. To phone Ireland, you need to call country code 353, we think when you drink this stout, it will be just like calling home. Staying true to the tradition of the Irish to never trust a beer that you can see through, we tossed in a massive dose of chocolate malt and even a splash of roasted barley. To finish this elixir from the mother land, we added a couple of hops from jolly ’ol England.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of bakers cocoa, roasted malt, licorice and light coffee. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Chocolate and lactose aroma, with some roastiness. Smooth palate with some bitterness. Quite nice.
