12oz bottle: Pours a clear pale golden with a stringy-lacing off-white head. Has a sweet light caramel malty nose with a touch of grassy noble hops and some doughy yeast. Starts with average fullness and a light caramel sweetness with some biscuity notes and herbal hop bitterness before a slightly drier finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable, but could use a little more complexity.

12oz short-style bottle. Nice orange mild hazy color, a good big off-white foamy head. Stronger carbonation, but decent dry texture. Malty body, with a sweet, soft hop profile. A hint of alcohol. An interesting savory / bitter taste, slight salt.. Only a little bit sweet. An interesting, but merely OK beer.

Dark golden with minimal head and lace. Interesting inversion in the mouth, first slight hoppiness, overcome by a sweet caramel that lingers after swallowing. Uncomplicated.

Poured a med gold color that was clear with very little head, but laced very well. The aroma was pleasantly yeasty with a medium hop and a hint of pine the came and went. Hmmm Taste was no surprise from the smell, well balanced between the malts and hops, flavor didn’t change too much as it warmed, I liked it slightly cooler in temperature. I had a medium amount of carbonation that was enought to clean your palate. Overall this is an easy drinker that I think will be a goto summer/outside at the grill brew. I liked it, and could have drank several more, without feeling full

Bottle:   Fiery amber, thin sudsy white head, sparce lacing.   Grainy aroma, slight soil and cereal.   Not a sweet example at all.   Grainy on the tongue, cereal, somewhat mealy.   Not terribly entertaining.   Very faint sweetness at the end.   Lingering graininess.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Not bad, but not that great either.

Love me some Goat Beer. Pours a Clear Amber/Orange, nice carbonated head. Smells like a Bock, tastes like a Bock. I wasn’t expecting too much with this Ohio Brew, But pleasantly surprised. Bready Malt Character, with just a touch of hops on the palate. Medium Body, Very drinkable. Not High on the list of great Bocks, but worth every Penny. (Well, I got mine free)

Maybe it was a bad bottle but based on the trend from Wooden Shoe this is par for the course. I don’t think I will trying any more of these even if I happen to run into their booth at a festival or some other event. I certainly won’t be going out of my way to make to Elevator Brewing.

Aroma / Appearance - The transparent amber body was a bit feeble and weak to the eye. Lazily carbonated it bubbled like air trapped under ice. The nose was wheat bread, chocolate, and ripe bananas in a way that was as boring as it can get. It was offputting but somehow I lost all desire to spend more than I had to trying it.

Flavor / Palate - Fluid and creamy the mouthfeel itself is not awful. However the taste of creme filling in a donut was not pleasant. Dry and malty with little fanfare there was not much depth at all. I’d rather take a solid New Glarus or Buckeye beer and add water to it. Even that would be more interesting. This isn’t even worth the recycling cost of the bottle.

Blah..a bland and boring bock. Aroma was very grainy with hints of caramel malt. Pour was a nice cloudy medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was very grainy and bland. A slightly malty backbone with not much else going on. It seems to turn to water in the aftertaste. Decent carbonation. Not very good.
