COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special - 2011 JDW Autumn Beer Festival.
This rich, copper-coloured beer has been brewed especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It has a wonderful aroma and a complex matrix of fruit and zesty flavours, with a rich, bitter aftertaste. Hops used: Celeia, Challenger, Goldings, Savinjski

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Spoons. Brilliant clear copper colour with lasting cream head. Its a yeasty bitter. Its a yeasty bitter. I know i have said tgat twice but then tgats what this is. Decent condition. Some ok bitterness on finish. Its fine.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Clear amber beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Medium carbonation. Okay malt supports mildy tangy orange hops. Mild minerals. Dry finish. Another Spoons fest Meh beer!

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Fur & Feather Woodbastwick 23/08/12. A darkish brown coloured beer with an off-white wisp of head. An old fashioned but tasty fruity beer. Nice sweetness. Earthy flavours with good depth. Tasty.

Cask, Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Amber gold with a cream foam. Aromas are autumn leaves with crystallised pear and lemon tea. Weetabix with bready yeast. Flavours are sweet autumn fruit with nettle tea and caramel and toffee malts. Citrus notes with some tartness. Some sweet chocolate with grapefruit bitterness to finish. I quite liked this.

Cask at The Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear amber with a soft head. Bit of fruits on the nose, light nuts. Medium sweet flavor, leafy bitterness, some ripe fruits, toasty sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, leafy hops, mild toast and sugar, ripe fruits. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2011. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Caramel and doughy malt aroma. Sweet, cereal malt flavours with a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at the John Logie Baird <JDW>, Hastings. Golden amber with a loose cream head; fruity malty aroma; flavour of blackberries and other autumn fruit, with a body of light biscuity malts; very lightly hopped with a dry fruity finish. Rather ordinary.

Cask @ Esquire House, JDW. Spoons Real Ale Festival autumn 2011. 4.3% ABV. Amber colour, off-white head. Nose is skunky, vegetables, bit of caramel. Flavour is vegetables, light caramel and biscuit. A bit stale and metallic. Fairly dry finish. Must have been a bit off.
