Pours golden. Aroma of apricots and grass. Sour flavor, cider-like. Lots of fruit flavors- apples, apricot, peach. Funky, but very good.

On tap at Gourmet Haus Staudt in Redwood City, CA. Tart / astringent lemon and apricot with a interesting grain / herbal finish. More complex than a lot of the other American sours I’ve had of late but still something missing for me on this one.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Tart and yeast aroma with light summer fruit. Citrus and apricot flavor with yeast and tart/light sourness. Medium bodied. Tart/light sour and apricots linger with yeast and light tangerine citrus.

On tap at fobab. Pours a hazy orangey yellow. One dimensional, not too special. Kind of earthy, wet clay aroma. Taste is slight sourness. Drier Brett finish.

Poured at FoBAB 2014 (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice hazy golden amber hue, a good haziness with frothy firm offwhite head. A good layer sticks around, laces well with decent stick around. Aromas are funk and skunk, dank weed with gentle oak, tannic red wine and a bit of lactic acidity. Skunky funk brett, earth and cobwebs. Weird. Initial is sour and potent, lemony and big with rind, oils, big lemon character meets lactic acidity, funk and spiciness. Skunky elements, bread, and straw. Some weird funk, dank weed, firmer sourness, light body and a bit creamy. Interesting.

Hazy gold, thin bubbled white ring. Heavy pot icy-pop nose, light stable. Dank pot flavor, thin body and stale carbonation, lightly peppery gin botanicals throughout.
