1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 thedm (4116) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 21, 2005
This bottled cider poured a small sized head of white colored mostly diminishing fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a transparent weak yellow colored softly carbonated body and no lacing. The aroma was only notable as a mild apple one. The mouth feel was tingly with a typical ciderery apple finish. The flavor contained notes of very mild green apples. I thought this cider needed much more than it delivers. Where’s the flavor?
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - FEB 14, 2005
Bottle. Fine sized bubbles, very little carbonation, transparent and a yellow hue. Sweet, apples, and sour aroma. Sweet, syrupy, sour, tart, apple juice, water flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 AAO (102) - Næstved, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2005
Golden color, no head. Aroma all apple. Sweet and sour apple taste. Simpel but ok...!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - JAN 2, 2005
Smells like apples with a musty aroma around it. Wine-like apply taste. Light and goes down easy. Sweet all around. Would have preferred something drier...much drier.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 leaparsons (6082) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2004
Golden orange in colour like David Dickinsons face. Aromas are sweet apple with dead mustiness. Flavours are sweet apples and artificial sweetner found in soft drinks. To be fair at least it hasn’t got the killer alcohol levels of many cheap ciders. So its probably a decent refresher on a hot day - if served very cold.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cornfield (5239) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 26, 2004
This pours a very pale yellow with a lot of tight carbonation. Very subtle apple aroma. Fizzy in the mouth, it has a subdued apple flavor that tastes somewhat like ginger ale as the drink warms.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 PorterPounder (3944) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 18, 2004
Poured form the bottle at B. Merrells in Tallahassee. Pours a pale light golden with no trace of a head whatsoever, looks fairly dead. Faint appley aroma. Flavor not very pronounced, faint traces of golden delicious apples, but it’s a stretch to pull it out. Bland and boring. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin, even for a cider. Not the best.

Well, gold, fizzy, sweet apples. What more would you expect from a cider? I’m not really a big cider fan so I don’t put this high on my list. That being said, it’s not disgusting, just too sweet for me to really enjoy
